1992 Fall Meeting

September 26, 1992 - Nybo's Landing, Red Wing MN

31 members from Minnesota, 2 from Wisconsin, 3 from Iowa, 4 from North Dakota, and 4 from Norway gathered at Nybo's Landing in Red Wing for the 1991 Fall meeting.  Ellef Erlien led the singing of "America" and "Ja Vi Elsker Dette Landet," which was followed by the pledge of allegiance.  Hans and Aase Braastad and their daughter Vigdis from Lunner and Gulbrand Egge from Brandbu were introduced.  Palmer Rockswold shared the story of his recent trip to Norway.  Fred Johnson provided a history of Red Wing.

After lunch, many members stayed at the restaurant to visit, while others took an historic tour of the city that included the newly renovated Sheldon Theater.  Later in the afternoon, the group reunited at Nybo's for coffee and cake.

Summary of the 1992 Fall Meeting report found in the November, 1992 Brua
