After coffee, rosettes and krumkake, the meeting included discussions of the plans for the 1999 Bygdelag Centennial.  The membership voted to buy a full page ad in the Centennial book.  A 2000 trip to Norway was also discussed. 

John Andreason, president of Oak Grove Lutheran High School in Fargo, provided information about the school after his daughter, 8th grader Karin Andreason, played Norwegian folk tunes on her violin.  After lunch, Vern Solien presented a videotape of his trip to Norway.  A tour of the newly built Stavkirke and the exhibits at the Center rounded out the day.
