Harriet Foss stepped down from the board of directors after many years of faithful service to the Lag.  The Lag voted to provide a gift of 10,000 Nkr to the Hadeland Folkemuseum in honor of the Centennial of the Mannskor KK.  A congratulatory greeting from the Lag will accompany this gift when it is presented at the Centennial banquet on November 10th.   "The Sioux Uprising and Norwegian Connections" was presented by Don Miller of the Kandiyohi County Historical Society.

In the afternoon, Lag members toured the Kandiyohi County Historical Museum, the Schwanke Museum of old cars, and/or the Mikkelson Collection of Boating.  Shopping at the House of Jacobs Norwegian shop and Mr. B's Chocolatier was also included on this beautiful fall day.  The afternoon ended with coffee and cake served back at the Kandi center.
