In October, the Norwegian Statehood Pioneers Project will celebrate Minnesota's Sesquicentennial with an October Celebration in Rochester, Minnesota.

We'll have the fall meeting of the Hadeland Lag in the morning, and members will have the opportunity to share lunch before the October Celebration begins.

• Location of the morning meeting will be announced in August.

• At noon, the display area will open with displays and information tables. 

• At 1 PM, the afternoon program will begin.  Keynote address by Dr. Odd Lovoll, entertainment by "Those Lutheran Ladies" Janet Martin and Suzann Nelson. The highlight of the event:  the "Call of the Roll" of the Norwegian Statehood Pioneers.

• After a cocktail hour at 5 PM, the evening banquet will offer good food, good company, a Bunad Parade, recognition of St. Olav Medal winners, and entertainment by Leroy Larson and the Scandinavian Music Ensemble
