In honor of Minnesota's 150th Birthday in 2008, the Norwegian Statehood Pioneer Project published this book that includes

• Over 125 biographies of Norwegians who lived in Minnesota in 1858 (submitted with Statehood Pioneer Applications).

• A list of over 200 Century Pioneers who lived in Minnesota 1858-1908 (from Century Certificate applications).

• A recap of the October Celebration, with photos and complete text of Dr. Odd Lovoll's Keynote Address.

• Minnesota's St. Olav Medal winners.

• Information about participating organizations

• Complete name index in both last name and first name order
