Maiden Name: Inger Dorthea Andersdatter Lunder Born March 30, 1866 on Upper Vendrumseie Emigration: May 23, 1884 aboard the "City of Rome,"  arriving in New York on June 10.  Residences: Litchfield Mn, 5yrs; since then in Northwood ND. Occupation: Farmer  Church: The United Norwegian Lutheran Church  Married Ole T. Jacobson on December 14, 1888.   Children: Talle Adolph, born October 28, 1889; Clara Dagmar, born January 12, 1892, died October 11, 1912.  Parents: Master painter Anders Gutormson (born January 10, 1832 on Sjervumsengen, died 1912) and Inger Dorthea Johannesdatter Fjeldsjøberget (born October 14, 1835, died 1916).  In 1910, parents Anders Gutormson and his wife celebrated their Golden Wedding with all their children present. Siblings: Elline Lynne, Plaza ND; John A. Lunden, Plaza ND; Inga O. Jacobson, Northwood ND; Julia Olson, Lone Tree ND; Caroline Larson, Berthold ND; Christine Woken, Plaza ND; Lina Hoel, Culbertson MT.   Paternal Grandparents: Gutorm Christensen and Elline Detlofsdatter    Father’s siblings: Kresten Lunnebraaten and Kjersti Aaslien.  

 

33-2 Peder G. Jacobson                             Madison MN

Born October 21, 1857 in Allamake County IA  Residences: Iowa, 1857-1879; Canby, MN 1879-1883; Mankato, 1883-1886; Madison MN, 1886-1887; Aberdeen SD, 1887-1891; Madison MN, since 1891. Occupation: Banker, president of the school board for 14 years.  Delegate to "Progressive Natl Convention in Chicago in 1912 and 1916; delegate to "First Farmer's Congress" in Indianapolis IN; delegate to "Back to the Farm Congress" in Chicago; as chosen by the state governor. Church: The Norwegian Synod. School: Breckenridge Institute and Business College, Decorah IA.  Married Emma Hunt of Omaha Nebraska in 1889. She was born in Delavan Wisconsin in 1864.    Children: Cecile Louise, 1891; Esther G., 1893; William Wallace, 1896, died 1913; Oliver Gilbert, 1900. Parents: Gulbrand Jacobson Sorlie (born on Sorlie, Hadeland December 1827 and died June 30, 1797. Emigrated to Michigan in 1849, 1854 Wisconsin, and after marriage settled in Decorah IA.) and Karen Pedersdatter Rosendale (emigrated to WI in 1854, died in 1882 in Allamakee County IA).  Siblings: John G. Jacobson, Churches Ferry ND; Belle Jacobson, Madison MN; Josephine, married J F Jacobson, Madison MN, who was a candidate for Governor; Mary Jacobson, died 1911; Caroline Jacobson, deceased.    Paternal Grandparents: Jacob Anderson Sorlie   Maternal Grandparents: Peder and Martha Rosendale (she died in Norway at 100 years old).  Father’s siblings: Andrew Jacobson Sorlie, Waukon IA; Iver J. Sorlie, Hartland MN; Anne, Ingeborg.   

 

33-3 Lars Paulson Johnsrud                     Canby MN

Born May 22, 1840 on Johnsrud in Lunner, Hadeland.  Emigration: 1873, landing in New York.  Married Dinah Anderson Kongskoven from Hakedalen on June 14 1877. She was born on May 11, 1858.   

 

33-4 Peter P Kammerude                          Blanchardville, Lafayette County, WI

Born August 11, 1878 on Kammerude in Gran.  Emigration: 1895 aboard the "Tingvalla" landing in New York on July 12.   Occupation: Farmer  Married Mina Erickson in December of 1905.   Children: Paul Harald, born July 5, 1906; Orville Charles, born May 17, 1908; Ella Ingeborg, born July 22, 1910, Claire Victor, born Feb 17, 1912.* Parents: Peter H. Kjeksrud (born December 1, 1826) and Oline Larsdatter Bjørndalen (born August 27, 1832).  Siblings: Pernille, died 1893; Berte Berg, Blanchardville, R2, WI; Helen Hoff, Østre Gran, Hadeland; Lars Kammerud, Babcock, Wood County WI; Hans Kammerud, Blanchardville, R2, WI; Ane Jacobson, Argyle, R2, WI; Ole Kammerud, Blanchardville, R2, WI; Otto Kammerud, Blanchardville, WI; Gina Kammerud, Blanchardville WI; Iver Kammerud, Sherman SD.  Paternal Grandparents: Hans and Marie Kjeksrud; mother was born in 1800 and died in 1893.  Maternal Grandparents: Lars and Berte Bjørndalen.

34-1 Ole P. Kammerude                            Blanchardville WI

Name changed from Kammerudstangen. From Kammerudstangen, Gran. Born February 14, 1869  Emigration: July 4, 1886 aboard the sailing ship "Tingvalla" arriving in New York on July 18.   Residences: 2 years in Postville, Green County WI; 1 yrs in Mt Vernon, Dane County WI; 5 yrs in Washington Township and have since lived in Blanchardville WI.  Occupation: Painter and contractor   Church: Yellowstone Lutheran Church  Married Agnes Maryella April 22, 1891.   Children: John, Peter, Oliver, Thomas, Olga, Nellie, Mary, Joseph, Lester, Harvard, and Katerina.  Parents: Tailor Peder Hanson (born Sept. 16, 1826, took part in the Danish-German War of 1849, then a steamboat on the Randfjorden before emigrating  to America and died February 17, 1912 in Blanchardville, Lafayette County, WI) and Oline Larsdtr Bjørndalen (born August 27, 1832).  Siblings: Mrs. Berthe Berg, Blanchardville WI, R2; Mrs. Melene H. Myhre, Grant Station, Hadeland; Lars, La Crosse WI; Hans, Blanchardville WI, R2; Mrs. Ane Anderson, Argyle WI; Otto, Blanchardville; Gina, Blanchardville; Peter, Blanchardville; Iver, Sherman SD.  Paternal Grandparents: Hans Engebretsen (b. 1798 on Olmsjø in Brandbu) and Pernille Pedersdtr (b 1800).   Maternal Grandparents: Lars Olsen Bildeneie and Berthe Olsdtr. Father’s siblings: Engebret, Marie, Elina and Marte Kjæksrud.  Engebret lives in Norway; Marie married Ole Mjøllund, they came to America in 1883 where both died; Elina married Anders Hanson, was widowed and came to America in 1885; Marthe died in Norway;  

 

34-2 Lise Maria Klemesrud                      Nora Springs IA

Born December 2, 1872 in Rock Creek, Mitchell County IA. Grandparents emigrated to America in 1865.  Residences: Mitchell County IA Church: Rock Creek Norwegian Lutheran Church School: Public  School; 2 yrs in Cedar Valley Seminar, Osage IA.  Married Farmer Herman K. Klemesrud on March 9, 1892.    Children: Alice Korinda, December 8, 1896; Helen Leonora, February 11, 1899; Hjalmar Livius, March 3, 1901; Irene Lillian, April 18, 1903; Knud Arthur, March 22, 1905; Louise, April 1, 1910.  Parents: Lars L. Dynna (b. June 7, 1840 on Dynna in Gran and died in America in 1873) and Ingeborg Flatla (born on Flatla, Lunner on November 26, 1840; married Lars Dynna in 1868;  remarried to Anders Wamstad from Gran in 1880.)  Siblings: Ludvig L. Dynna, deceased; Brede Wamstad, Osage IA; Andrea Wamstad, Osage IA.   Paternal Grandparents: Lars Dynna and Mari Stosta  Maternal Grandparents: Lars Flatla and Ingeborg Svinning.  Father’s siblings: Torgrim Dynna and Karen Gunildred, both died in Norway; Hovel Dynna and Anders Dynna, both died in America; Gulbjørg Lieker, Mitchell County IA.

From Kammerudstangen, Gran. Born July 14, 1864.  Emigration: April 1884, aboard the "Eastersun," landing in Quebec May 18.   Residences: Lafayette County WI  Occupation: Farmer, school board member. Church: Yellowstone Lutheran Church  Married Mathilde (?) January 9, 1897.   Children: Petter Joseph, 13 yrs, 10 mos; Rosetta, 12; Alvilda, 10; Helen, 8; Henry, 6; and Louis, 1. 35-2 Otto Kammerud                                     Blanchardville WI

Name changed from Otto Pederson Kammerudeie. From Brandbu, Hadeland.  Born November 25, 1871 in West Gran, Hadeland. Emigration: August 1893 aboard the SS "Hekla," landing in New York on August 30.   Residences: Blanchardville WI  Occupation: Farmer. Church: The Free Norwegian Lutheran Church.  Married Mertha Calden April 9, 1898.   Children:   Thomas, 11 1/2; Lina, 10; Arthur, 8; Oscar, 6; Goldie, 4; Eden, 2; Helga, 4 months. Parents: Peder Hansen Kammerud (born September 16, 1826). (See Ole P. Kammerude, Blanchardville for additional family information.)

 

35-3 Anders E. Kjorven                               Grand Forks County ND

Born December 4, 1854 on Kjørven in Hadeland.  Emigration: 1868, aboard the "Pennsylvania," landing in New York on May 25.    Residences: Clayton County IA; Ottertail County MN; Grand Forks County ND.  Occupation: Farmer Church: The United Norwegian Lutheran Church  School: High school in Norway.  Married Gjoranne Hermansen from Numedal on January 1, 1875.    Children: Manda, Emma, Lisa, all born in Ottertail County MN; Gina, Helmer, Joseph, Ida, Tilda, born in Grand Forks County ND. Parents: Erik Andersen Holt (born in Lunner) and (no first name given) Hansdtr. Kjørven.  Siblings: Marte Brørby, Clermont IA; Anna Tollefson, Northwood ND; Hans E. Kjorven, Battle Lake MN.  Father's Siblings: Jens, Brede, John and Gulbrand, all died in America; Gunder Andersen, Kristiania, Norway.

 

35-4 Tilla Cornelia Kirkeby                        Decorah IA

Born June 10, 1858 in Glenwood IA. Church: The Norwegian Synod  Married Farmer A H Kirkeby on July 4, 1874.   Children: Henry Oscar, May 27, 1876; Hans Victor, January 2, 1878; Carl Adolf, September 9, 1879; Bernhard Ferdinand, August 31, 1883; Alfred Cornelius, March 9, 1889; George Wilhelm, May 28, 1891. Parents: Hans Torstenson Evenrud, born in Brandbu on May 5, 1826.  He came to America in 1850.

 

35-5 Gilbert Kjos                                          Albert Lea MN

Name changed from Gulbrand G. Kjella. From Kjella, Hennung.  Born November 3, 1869.  Emigration: March 29, 1893 aboard the "Sibirian," landing in New York on April 19.   Residences: Freeborn County MN  Occupation: Farmer, on the church board and the school board. Military service: Served one year in Norway as an enlisted man with the Engineer's artillery and weapon division. Church: The Norwegian Synod  Married Helene Rafshus, Albert Lea on December 25, 1900.   Children: Grace Irene, 1902; Clarence Mandel, 1904; Eleonor, 1908; Esther Emmelia, 1910; Grant Gerbert, 1912.   Parents: Carpenter and lumberman G. Kjella (born December 25, 1825 on Sletmoen in Brandbu). Siblings: Ole Torger, Brandbu; Mrs. Carl Hanson, Albert Lea; Mrs. Peder Gjerdings, Brandbu, deceased; Mrs. Christoffer Smedshammer, Litchville, ND, deceased; Mrs. Anna Engstrøm, Bleiker Station, Brandbu; Mrs. Maren Ulriksen, Albert Lea; Mrs. Elise Ross, Haynes ND; Christ Kjow, Ft Ransom ND; Ole Pedersen, Brandbu (adopted brother).  Paternal Grandparents: Christen Jacobsen Sletmoen and wife Randi.   Guldbrand Bjølvigen and wife Maren.  They came to America 50 years ago and settled near Lanesboro MN where their son Andreas Gilbertson now lives.
